Lady Falcons Flag Football is lead by Head Coach, Jason Smith and Assistant Coach, JJ Vega.

 

Coach Smith has coached in Hillsborough County Public Schools for the past ten years as both an Assistant Coach and Head Coach in baseball and football. This is his first year at the healm for the Lady Falcons Flag Program. Coach Smith has 20+ years of playing experience ranging from little league to semi-professional and arena football.

 

Coach Vega has been an Assistant Coach for the past three seasons at Leto High School serving as an Assistant Coach in both the football and flag football programs. Coach Vega also is a veteran football player from Alonso High School.

 

The goal of the 2025 season was to revitalize the flag program and integrate football IQ and hard work as the cornerstone of our identity. The motto for 2025 was "ALL IN" which encapsulates the mentality of being present, giving all out effort and loving teammates and the game of football.

 

The Lady Falcons participated in the Buccaneers Pre-Season Classic to begin the 2025 campaign as well as competiting in the Capital City Classic in Tallahassee in March and as a part of the Florida 2A Classification (District 13).

 

Looking forward to 2026, the Lady Falcons will build on the football knowledge learned in 2025. We will build the program in numbers and in strength and skill.
